Beavers - 6 to 8 years

Try new things. Make new friends. Joining Beavers is just the beginning of your adventure...

Who are Beavers?

Beavers are young people, aged 6 to 8, who:

  • Make new friends
  • Try new things
  • Learn new skills
  • Have fun
  • Help other people and make a difference, in their local communities and beyond

Every week, our Beavers meet on Monday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:00pm to hop, skip and jump their way through lots of different games and activites - achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.

What do Beavers do?

Being a Beaver is all about growing and learning in small but mighty ways. Here's just a few of the things our Beavers get up to:

  • Exploring the great outdoors
  • Playing games and sports
  • Being creative
  • Learning about the world around them
  • Helping others

Beavers also spend at least one night away each year, whether it's a sleepover at the hall, or a camping adventure with our friends in Cubs and/or Scouts!

Joining Beavers

Beavers is our most popular section for new joiners, and as such we usually have a waiting list for new members. If you would like to join our Beaver Colony, let us know via our Joiners Form and we will be in touch as soon as we have a space available.

If your child is too young to join Beavers, you can still register your interest in joining and we'll be in touch when they are old enough to join and we have a space for them.
